I used the Rocket Money app. I liked it so much that I set up a $7 monthly donation to them. The app stopped loading the next time that I went to use it, and it's been 2.5 years now. I blame Apple for breaking the app on the VERY old Iphone I had, but it's still funny whenever I see the charge.

First Off, Sam Witwer is a National Treasure. Would love to see him Reprise his Role as Galen Marek in live action. Second, Michael- Your Portrayal of Alexander Luthor is still to this day My favorite and most compelling example of how a flawed character can become pushed over into the role of Villain by events outside their control and the environment their friends and allies would push them into. Lex wanted to find answers on why and how he keeps surviving horrific catastrophes and his own best friend (Clark) keeps him at arm's length, denying the blatantly obvious truth. Had Clark simply Embraced Alexander and kept him close in Trust and Confidence, there was a possibility that the goodness of Kal-El could have kept the darkness from overtaking Lex. Alexander Luthor was an excellent example of a friendship turning into tragic Enmity. And I thank you sir for your version of Him in Smallville.

It's strange listening to these people talking like drugs are the problem, when in reality joblessness is the problem, homelessness is the problem, starvation is the problem. We need to do better, drugs are the solution for a lot of people to get through this insane excuse for civilized society. They wear off/we become strong enough to survive without them, but drugs are a solution, and future generations shouldn't have to suffer as we do.

Society vilifies a strong ego, but as long as it's in balance with everything else, you need to the strong ego as much as any other part of the human experience. My husband's favorite show was Married W/ Children back when it was on. Me I liked watching SOA - not into bikes/motorcycles at all but interested in the politics and dynamics of their world, having in-laws and husband sons, and others into motorcycles, and/ or in clubs, but identified with the role of Tara which drew most of us normal people into the story. The story just drew you in from the beginning, because it humanized them as a family and brotherhood, and I was someone who was hoping we would get a POV from the Mayans, and we eventually did. She looks similar and is the same age as my mom. They seem like a truly warm and great Hollywood couple.

Here we go with the actors doing the whole "we did no digital" thing when in reality 80% of the time an actor says something was completely practical, it is digitally enhanced in the final. @TheMovieRabbitHole has a great series on how vfx is overlooked and played down as some horrible thing when in reality people are judging all of it based on the small bad examples of it. No hate on him personally, i just think it's a problem in hollywood at the moment.

It was a treat to read my suspicions were happily confirmed that Tim Nelson would be reprising his role as Sam Sterns, first appearing as the pre-Gamma-Mutate character who would become the Leader in 2008's The Incredible Hulk. Being a lifelong Torontonian, Trekker, comic fan and 11 years a science-fiction writer's veterancy under my belt as of present post, it rather was a treat to see the now-shuttered Big Slice pizza place on Yonge Street in the background during Bruce and Blonsky's gamma-enhancile dustup, and the U of T greensword roundabout near the middle of the downtown campus where Sterns meets Banner and Betty in person for the first time. The only thing that ever bettered that for me was finding out Billy Batson went to the same high school I did, Danforth Tech on Strathmore north of Danforth Avenue and one of the filming locations was Greenwood Station on Line 2 when auld Lower Bay didn't fill in by scene-transition, when I saw the first Shazam! in 2018. I regret that my goodman Rob Charpentier who owned the Shining Knight comic store nearby when I attended high school, passing away in 2014 from finally inoperable brain cancer, did not live to see it himself. He was a big part of my reaching the dreams I've met and seen in living witness. I rather wish sometimes the narratory handholding wasn't taken to such an extreme when it comes to established characters and backstories like the Leader, Sterns and Bruce, Betty and Thaddeus and Rick as well. You don't have to obsess over a character to have it or them mean something to you; the message no more or less important than the medium. I learned that long before I was a professional science-fiction trade writer and worldbuilder, and know it's true even now, no matter what a body's choice in contribution to the great business of speculative fiction. I just have a better handle on how I do it, no more and no less.
